This year Vermont lawmakers made a commitment to protecting our youth and young adults by raising the age to purchase tobacco products to 21 starting September 1st, 2019! Organizations and individuals can find more information and resources about tobacco prevention efforts on the VT Health Department website here.
If you know a young person who needs help to quit smoking or vaping encourage them to check out the free 802Quits resources for VTers at 802quits.org or call 1-800-QUIT-NOW.
